CUATRO DÉCADAS DE CRÍTICA

En 1980 la editorial estadounidense Ohio University Press, de la Universidad de Ohio en Athens, publicó un extenso ensayo titulado H.P. Lovecraft: Four Decades of Criticism, o sea, en castellano, H.P. Lovecraft: Cuatro décadas de crítica. Nos encontramos ante una obra de 255 páginas que recoge 22 artículos críticos sobre la vida y la obra de Lovecraft que abarcan 40 años de estudios del autor de La llamada de Cthulhu, de reputados críticos y expertos, algunos tan relevantes como Peter Cannon, S.T. Joshi, Barton L. St. Armand o Winfield T. Scott, y de escritores que fueron amigos de Lovecraft, como Clark Ashton Smith, Fritz Leiber o Robert Bloch, entre otros.
